Welcome! This is our studio, our “sound laboratory”, where we create our sound the way you hear it in our songs. Here, our task is not only to play and record well, but also to immerse our listener into the space of our music as much as possible. Involve it in every note, every word and every sound. We try hard to make our music so lively and honest, so that the listener could feel himself a part of this process.
It so happened that the modern world of sound recording is full of abundance of possibilities, which to some extent help to achieve, at first glance, expensive and high-quality sound with the help of various software for computers. In the production of songs of many contemporary artists, digital sound processing is often used, because it greatly simplifies the production process and, most importantly, saves money. But for ourselves, relying on our experience and the experience of our colleagues, we concluded that the modern music industry, even in the field of alternative and rock music, can no longer boast such an abundance of groups as it was before, which they use in their recordings, mostly analog equipment, do not abuse the editing of the recorded material during the mixing, they use only live instruments, not samples. Therefore, in 2018, we decided to abandon the "abuse" of digital capabilities. In order to make our songs sound as lively, dynamic, aesthetically and honestly as possible, we try to use all the instruments, effects, and treatments in live or analog form, unless it is not a rational solution. Even in those cases when we need the sound of some synthesizer, we still try to achieve this sound with the help of live instruments, which are recorded in a special way by special analog effects. Such our decisions are due to the fact that excessive use of software processing in the process of recording and information introduces digital distortions that violate the natural component of the recorded and source material. As a result, the finished track will sound very synthetically and lose its vitality. If such a sound is probably suitable for many pop genres, then for rock music, in our opinion, this is not acceptable.
Therefore, we created our own studio M.A.I.N., in which, as in the laboratory, we have the opportunity to experiment with sound to create something unique, but using various analog tools...
